Notes: Mahogany brown with black patches. The solid black part is translucent, the brown is opaque. Obsidian is volcanic glass and will chip like glass if the edge is too thin. The concoidal fracture of obsidian makes it ideal for knapping. It takes a very shiny finish and will make some very nice cabochons.
Flaws: It has no flaws that I can see.

Notes: This obsidian is silver sheen obsidian, but it is mostly black obsidian with a streak of silver. If you have a need for all black or all silver sheen, this may not be it. But if you want an interesting slab that is mostly black with a surprise, this is a great slab. It is very clean and solid. Because it is mostly black, I am selling it at the cheaper black obsidian price.
Flaws: It has no flaws that I can see.
